Charlotte Irene Knox Ray
LYFORD, TX - "Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free...", Charlotte Ray, 57, of Elm Mott, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2007. Charlotte was born August 24, 1949, in Raymondville, Texas to Luther and Margie Taylor Knox, the third of four children. She grew up in Lyford, Texas, where she graduated in 1967. She spent her later years in the Waco area.
She leaves behind her special angels, her grandchildren: Rickey Roberts II of Santa Rosa. Madison, Mason, and McKennan Ledoux of Deer Park, Texas. Jacob and Alex Houston of Moody, Texas. And her newest angel, Vance Clinkenbeard of Houston. Her children and their husbands: Michelle and Kirk Ledoux, Nicole and James Stephens, and Kimberly and Christopher Clinkenbeard. She also leaves behind her loving siblings and their spouses: Pat and Gene Walls of Jones Creek, Texas. LD and Dolores Knox of Freeport, Texas. Debbie and Don Scott of Pearland, Texas. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Memorials should be in the form of prayers, sweet thoughts, joyous memories, laughs and hugs.
A private family celebration will be held.
