79, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2008. He was born on December 24, 1928 to Jesus & Micaela Gonzales. He retired from Goodyear after 38 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years; Lucia H. Gonzales of Harlingen, 3 children; Margarita Gonzales, Sandy (Bob) Stradford and Juanita Gutierrez all of Harlingen, 6 grand-children; Monica Gon-zales, Samantha Gonzales, John Saldana, Ashley Perez, Davina Gutierrez, and Vanessa Gutierrez, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters; Lydia Perez, Irene Perez, Elisa Lopez, Enedina Flores, 2 brothers; Raul Gonzales and Reynaldo Gonzales.

Visitation will be held today (Saturday) and Sunday, May 31 and June 1, 2008 at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. A holy rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral procession will depart the Rudy Garza Funeral Home on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. for a funeral mass at Our Lady of Assumption at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Cemetery.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home.
