Wedding Announcement

   Annalisa Valdez and Gilberto Martinez were united in marriage on October 29, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in San Antonio with Father Larry Christian officiating at the ceremony.

   The Bride's Maid of Honor was Linda Ortiz, bridesmaids were Vanessa Valdez, Jessica Zamora and Rebekah Negrete and flower girls were Kylie Dominguez, Valentina Martinez and Isabela Viscarra.

   The Groom's Best Man was Eduardo Martinez Jr., groomsmen were Christopher Espinosa, Rogelio Dominguez and Daniel Lee. Ring bearer was Ramiro Guerra.

   A reception followed at The Venues at Valero-The Terrace.

   Special guests were Antonia Martinez (bride) and Joe Martinez Sr., Gregoria Martinez, Benino and Hilaria Gonzales (groom).

   The bride is the daughter of Chief Justice Rogelio Valdez and Adelita M. Valdez of Harlingen. She is a graduate of Texas State University in San Marco, Texas and is employed at Northside ISD as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology.

   The groom is the son of Eduardo Sr., and Herlinda Martinez of San Antonio and is employed at USAA. He served two combat tours in Iraq with the U.S. Marine Corps.

   The couple is planning a wedding trip in the Summer of 2012 and presently reside in San Antonio.
