SAN BENITO, TX.- Leonor Vasquez

54, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Vasquez worked for Darell Hester Detention Center for many years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and forever be loved by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Santos Vasquez; parents, Candelario Carrillo and Petra Rodriguez de Carrillo; children, Sandra G. (Gerardo Sr.) Gallardo, Bertha A. (Carlos) Hinojosa, Miguel A. (Linda) Vasquez, Christina (Rudy) Serna, and Carlos A. (Paula) Vasquez; brothers and sisters, Clara Carrillo, Victor Carrillo, Carlos Carrillo, Olga Bolay, Guadalupe Espino, Alicia Solis, and Rodolfo Carrillo; 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 1 PM to 9 PM with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chapel.

A Mass is attentively scheduled to be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 2 PM at St. Benedict's in San Benito with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Miguel A. Vasquez, Gerardo Gallardo Sr., Carlos A. Vasquez, Carlos Hinojosa, Rudy Serna, Gerardo Gallardo Jr. and David Angulo.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria Del Angel, Cemeteries, Mausoleums and a Dignity Memorial Provider, 2906 S. Expressway 77/83 Harlingen, TX 78550.
