Weslaco man arrested on child porn charges

WESLACO — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested a Weslaco man Thursday on charges he possessed and received child pornography.
Federal prosecutors allege Raul Casarez, 29, distributed several multimedia files with suggestive titles through Internet downloading networks.
He has been ordered held without bond until a detention hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
If convicted, Casarez could face up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.
