Mindi Lyn Zamora from Harlingen, Texas and Aaron Michael Wood from Carrollton, Texas were united in marriage on September 11, 2010 at the Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Rev. Paul Irby, Uncle of the Bride, officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
The Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hector Zamora, Jr. from Harlingen, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gail Irby and the late Robert I. Irby of Harlingen, and of Martha Zamora and the late Hector Zamora of Harlingen.
The Groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Wood from Carrollton, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Wood and the late Barney Wood of Carrollton, and Mrs. Marjorie Lambert of Carrollton.
The Bride's college roommates, Becca Black and Kala Chalman were the Matron of Honor and Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Stormey Wilson, college friend of the bride, Julie Wood and Morgan Wood, sisters of the groom and Nadia Costa, childhood friend of the bride. Serving as House Party was Kate Salinas, friend of the Bride.
The Groom's college roommates Gerad Morris and Joe Reyna were the best men. The groomsmen were Nick Schafer and Steve Mikolajczak, friends of the Groom, Daniel Zamora, brother of the Bride, and Greg Erickson, college friend of the Groom. Ushers were cousins of the Groom Colton Wood and Kyle Miller, and friend of the Groom Cameron Burger.
The bride is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University in Abilene where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher with Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD.
- He is currently employed with MetLife in Dallas, Texas and serves as a volunteer fire fighter in Oak Point.
After the honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple has made their home in Plano, Texas.
