BULLETIN: House on fire at North Parkwood

Firefighters are battling a house fire in the 1800 block of North Parkwood Drive, which neighbors say is vacant.
Neighbors reported seeing smoke coming from the house about 9:30 p.m. and called the fire department.
Thurs far, the fire has been contained to one home.
A woman who lives across the street said the home’s owners are in San Antonio, however, they left behind their pet dog to be taken care of by a friend and were not certain if the dog was in the house when the fire broke out.
As of 10:45 p.m., no injuries have been reported.
