San Benito to continue evaluating City Hall staff
Comments 0 | Recommend 0SAN BENITO - The City Commission will continue to evaluate City Hall staff members at tonight's commission meeting.
Duties and responsibilities of the city manager, city secretary, directors of finance, community affairs, economic development, information technology, public safety, public works and community development will be discussed in both public and closed sessions, an agenda for the meeting shows.
The regular meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the San Benito Municipal Building's Cesar Gonzalez Meeting Hall at 401 N. Sam Houston Blvd.
Last month, newly elected commissioners led an intense discussion on the director of public safety and city engineer positions.
In other items, the commission will discuss and possibly take action on the recovery actions from Hurricane Dolly. On Monday, city officials said a damage assessment for city buildings was being completed.
The commission will also take action on the San Benito City Cemetery Memorial Park expansion.
