Storm closings

* Texas State Technical College will be closed today and Thursday.
The college closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday and canceled night classes.
TSTC will resume classes as scheduled for Friday.

* The University of Texas at Brownsville-Texas Southmost College will be closed today.
The university closed at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. University officials will decide today whether classes will resume on Thursday.

* South Texas College has cancelled classes for today and Thursday. It closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The cancellation applies to all classes, meetings and operations at the five campuses, as well as Internet classes. It plans to resume normal operations and classes at 8 a.m. on Friday.

* Harlingen CISD will close offices and campuses today and Thursday. HCISD will reopen Friday morning.

* Su Clinica Familiar will be closed today. It closed its patient care facilities at 5 p.m. Tuesday. This announcement includes all of the clinic's facilities in Harlingen, Brownsville, Raymondville, and Santa Rosa.

* The Primera annexation public meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed to July 29 at 6:30 p.m.

* West Corporation's Harlingen office will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. CST on Tuesday. Employees are asked to calls to the West Disaster Hotline Number (1-888-944-9378, call center code 05) as listed on their emergency contact cards for updates on expected closing and re-opening times.

* The Texas Health and Health Services will close its offices in Cameron, Willacy, Hidalgo, Starr, Brooks, Jim Hogg and Zapata counties today. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday as weather permits.
