Tim McGraw will headline BorderFest 2010 at Dodge Arena
Comments 0One of the biggest names in country music will be taking the stage at Dodge Arena on March 6, 2010.
Dodge Arena officals announced Friday at a news conference that Tim McGraw will be headlining the concert line-up for Borderfest 2010.
Opening the show are country bands The Lost Trailers and Lady Antebellum.
McGraw has been dominating the country music charts for more than 15 years with 30 number one singles. He’s sold more than 40 million records, and has earned three Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards and 10 American Music Awards.
On top of his recording career and seemingly constant tour schedule, McGraw finds time to act in a few movies such as The Kingdom, Four Christmases and the box office smash The Blind Side, which is now playing in theaters nationwide.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 ,at the Dodge Arena box office, and prices start at $75 and go up to $199.50. The price includes admission to BorderFest.
More than 85,000 people attended BorderFest last year, which featured ‘80s boy band New Kids on the Block.
The event focuses on the culture, people, food and history of a different country each year. This year BorderFest is celebrating Australia.
