Missing Texas newspaper editor found at Wyoming rest stop

LANDER, Wyo. (AP) - A Texas newspaper editor who went missing six days ago was found Monday at a rest stop near the central Wyoming town of Lander, police said.
LaDawn Garland, 42, managing editor of the Bosque County News in Meridian, Texas, went missing after calling her husband on her cell phone around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Garland's husband said she'd told him she was calling from a Best Buy store in Waco, Texas, about 45 miles from their home.
A motorist saw Garland at a rest stop west of Lander on Monday morning. The motorist called authorities because she thought Garland looked like she needed help, Fremont County sheriff's Sgt. Jerry Evagelatos told the Casper Star-Tribune.
He said Garland was taken by ambulance from the rest stop to a Lander hospital.
Texas Ranger Sgt. Jason Taylor told the Waco Tribune-Herald that Garland was being treated for a ``possible medical condition.'' The newspaper reported that Garland is a Wyoming native.
