Rosary, vigil and flag-raising for Spc. Alex Gonzalez

The Gonzalez family would like to invite the community to join them in prayer of the Holy Rosary tonight – May 8th at their home at 2200 Barbara at 7:00 p.m. for Army Spc. Alex Gonzalez who died Tuesday in Iraq.

The City of Mission and America's Last Patrol will coordinate a candlelight vigil in Gonzalez's memory, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Mr. & Mrs. Alfredo Gonzalez’ residence, 2200 Barbara in Mission. America's Last Patrol will participate with a flag raising ceremony.

The Gonzalez family would like to humbly ask for support from the community in providing necessary resources to assist immediate family members traveling to the Mission from as far away as Oceanside, Calif. Mr. Gonzalez’ mother and siblings need money to be able to make this long journey. They are accepting donations at Texas State Bank – Account # 51356287.
