HARLINGEN - Authorities said a 47-year-old Harlingen man on a "most wanted" list was caught by Harlingen police on Friday.

Ismael Aguilar, whose name had been on the Cameron County District Attorney's Office "most wanted" list since January, had been on the run for possession of a controlled substance since April 2006, according to a news release from the DA's office.

According to the release, he was first arrested in January 2006 but failed to appear before a state district judge for his arraignment.
