Cameron Country Regional Mobility Authority Director/Coordinator Pete Sepulveda is pleased that the Texas Department of Transportation will kick in money for some Cameron County toll road plans.
Fine! Perhaps those projects are needed.
But it is time, finally, for the CCRMA and Mr. Sepulveda to drop the West Loop Toll Road/Parkway plan.
That is an unneeded project, an environmental and financial nightmare.
So, CCRMA and Mr. Sepulveda, success with your other plans that are trying to ease traffic in the county; just abandon the West Loop.
