Saints' Sedrick Ellis out 4 weeks

METAIRIE, La. - Top draft pick Sedrick Ellis will be lost to the New Orleans Saints for two to four weeks with a right knee injury.

The defensive lineman from Southern California has a medial meniscus tear. He left Thursday's practice after hearing what he said was `'kind of a click'' in his knee.

Ellis has started all four games this season for the Saints (2-2).
