Ginobili out, Parker doubtful for Spurs

SAN ANTONIO — Manu Ginobili (MAN'-oo jih-NOH'-blee) is out and Tony Parker is listed as doubtful as the injuries woes continue for the San Antonio Spurs.

Ginobili won't play Thursday night against Utah after straining his left groin in Wednesday's overtime loss at Dallas. He was to be re-examined Thursday in San Antonio.

Parker re-aggravated his sprained left ankle in a loss Saturday against Oklahoma State and didn't play against the Mavericks. It was the third game Parker has missed this season.

Tim Duncan missed two games last week with an ankle injury of his own.

San Antonio entered Thursday's game at 4-5, well below expectations after a pricey summer overhaul and a healthy start to the season for Duncan and Ginobili.
