San Benito CISD recently hosted the Tip-O-Tex Livestock Show at the Sonny Brazil Agriculture Complex, located behind San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy. Cameron and Willacy County Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapters belong to the Tip-O-Tex FFA District.

“Overall, our students did very well. This show serves as a benchmark to see the progress that our students are making in advance of the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show held in Mercedes in March,” said agriculture teacher Eddie Garcia. “We are on target and very proud of the outcome and of all Tip-O-Tex Livestock Show winners and participants.”
