PORT ISABEL – A Port Isabel man accused of tampering with evidence linked to the sale of narcotics was arrested Tuesday during a raid.
The Cameron County District Attorney’s Office Special Investigation Unit and Port Isabel police raided a home on the 200 block of East Railroad.
According to a news release investigators seized money, electronics, cell phones and arrested George Vasquez Jr.
He is charged with a third degree felony of tampering with physical evidence.
The DA’s office says the home had been under surveillance for a month.
