SAN BENITO — The City of San Benito is hosting “Summer Nights in the Park” tomorrow at Heavin Memorial Park on the resaca.

Music, family fun and some entertainment for the children, are planned from 5 to 11 p.m.

The event is designed to give families a fun event in a safe, outdoor setting as the summer season kicks-off in San Benito.

Commercial food trucks will be on hand to sell a variety of food. Admission is free of charge.

Ice chests or outside food or drinks will not be allowed. Bring your own chairs and blankets.

Future summer events will include movies at Stookey Park and other locations.

The City’s Parks & Recreation Department is hosting registration for various programs including soccer camp and cheerleading camp.
