BROWNSVILLE — The Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety will hold a public hearing starting at 10 a.m. today in Brownsville.
The Committee will discuss issues related to border security and operations, including the efforts of local law enforcement.
The public hearing will take place at the Brownsville City Hall, 2nd Floor of the Commission Chambers.
The Committee will also conduct legislative oversight and monitoring of the agencies and programs under the committee’s jurisdiction and the implementation of relevant legislation passed by the 84th Legislature.
The Committee will hear invited and public testimony.
