Get your seats now: Harlingen Concert Association announces return to auditorium

HARLINGEN — The Harlingen Concert Association is coming back to the historic Harlingen Municipal Auditorium for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

The season runs from November 2017 through March 2018.

Season subscriptions are now on sale at the Municipal Auditorium, 1204 Fair Park Boulevard in Harlingen, and online at on a first-come, first-served basis.

Subscribers will enjoy six performances featuring an array of live jazz, blues, Western Swing, vintage country music, gorgeous vocals, and dazzling choreography,

Since 1933, a dedicated group of community volunteers has worked to provide Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley with affordable, quality entertainment first as the Rio Grande Valley Civic Music Association, and now as the nonprofit Harlingen Concert Association.

Featured artists in the upcoming season include American Idol favorite Piper Jones, the classically-trained “Three Redneck Tenors,” The Sidestreet Strutters Jazz Band, a Hank Williams tribute artist, fiddle champions performing Western Swing and vintage country music, tap dancers, and more.

The new seating and upgraded sound system at the Harlingen Municipal Auditorium will allow audiences to have an intimate, close-up perspective on each performance.
