COMBES — A boil water notice is expected today for Combes after crews completed overnight work on water lines.
Water service was scheduled to be temporarily shut down as crews relocated water lines for a Texas Department of Transportation project at Templeton Avenue/Expressway 77 South Frontage.
The shutdown was scheduled for last night starting at 10 p.m. and lasting for up to eight hours.
After water service returns, customers will be under a boil water notice until water is tested and found safe to drink, according to a statement from the Town of Combes.
