The 81st annual Charro Days Fiesta poster was unveiled Wednesday morning at Charro Days’ headquarters in downtown Brownsville.

The poster, designed by Don Breeden, features a true Mexican charro stepping in a rope loop displaying true skill.

Breeden, who has been designing the poster since 1991, said he took dozens of photos of his model for the poster and had a tough time narrowing down which fantastic pose he planned to use.

“Which one do I leave out,” Breeden said. “There are so many poses.”

The longstanding and popular Charro Days Fiesta is just 24 days away. The festivities kick off on Feb. 18.
