The San Benito CISD Migrant Education Program (MEP) began distributing basic school supplies to local migrant students yesterday. In order to receive school supplies, migrant students must meet eligibility guidelines for MEP services.
Supplies are being distributed Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. now through Sept. 3 at the Migrant Department Office, located within the Landrum Educational Complex at 450 South Dick Dowling Street.
The distribution will continue throughout the 2018-2019 academic year, based on the availability of supplies.

Local MEP initiatives are aimed at helping migrant students succeed in school and successfully transition to postsecondary education or employment. For additional information, please contact Connie Cruz, Title I/Migrant Program Coordinator, at (956) 361-6311.
