HARLINGEN — The music of Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee Chicago will fill the Harlingen Municipal Auditorium Thursday, March 21 as Beginnings: The Ultimate Chicago Tribute Band is set to perform as part of the Harlingen Concert Association’s 2018-2019 season.
Performing live and without the use of pre-recorded tracks, the tribute band will cover hits such as “Saturday in the Park,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “Just You ‘n’ Me,” “Hard To Say I’m Sorry,” and of course, “Beginnings.”
Beginnings, which came together in 2002, is comprised of musicians and vocalists who have performed with Peter Frampton, Aretha Franklin, Don Henley, The Temptations, Steve Miller, Billy Joel, Joe Walsh, Blood Sweat & Tears and many others. The band also features former Chicago guitarist Donnie Dacus, who joined the group in 2016.
Concert tickets are $35 and are available online at www.HarlingenConcert.com and at the Auditorium box office, 1204 Fair Park Blvd., Monday through Friday during regular business hour. Tickets may also be purchased one hour before the performance.
