SAN BENITO — A video posted on social media Thursday allegedly showing two San Benito High School students engaging in lewd acts outside the campus during school hours raised concerns among parents.
District officials confirmed the video was posted on a fake Facebook page that improperly uses the name of San Benito High School, as well as the Greyhound logo.
“It appears to be run by students, and they often post inappropriate things,” Isabel C. González, Interim Director of Public Relations, stated in an email.
The video was reported to Facebook administrators for removal, according to González.
The San Benito CISD Police Department is investigating the incident.
