HARLINGEN — Voters in Cameron and Willacy counties have one last day to head to the polls for early voting ahead of the May 4 municipal and school district elections.
Early voting ends today at various polling places throughout the counties.

Harlingen voters can visit to review sample ballots and find early voting locations and times.
Voters who wait to cast their vote on Saturday’s Election Day are reminded they must go to their assigned voting precinct.
Also, election officials remind registered voters that valid proof of identification, such as a Texas driver’s license or ID card issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, must be provided at the polling site.
If voters have a reasonable impediment to obtaining a photo ID, they can use an alternative ID such as a utility bill or paycheck. People who use alternative IDs will have to complete a Reasonable Impediment Declaration.
Acceptable forms of photo ID to vote are:

• Texas Election Identification Certificate
• Texas Handgun License
• U.S. military ID
• Citizenship Certificate
• passport card or book
