There’s a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms early Sunday morning, but otherwise the day will be mostly dry through the day under partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies.

The National Weather Service says the forecast calls for rain and thunderstorm chances to increase Monday, especially Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning as a weak upper level disturbance sweeps over South/Central Texas.

Then get ready for hotter days ahead as an upper level high pressure will result in a warm up of temperatures by midweek.

Wednesday and Thursday temperatures should reach 100 degrees.
