Fall Festival returns this weekend

HARLINGEN — Food trucks, live entertainment and more are expected for the second annual fall festival.

The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 23 at Harlingen Field located at 1216 Fair Park Blvd.

Carnival rides and a pumpkin patch will be on site for entertainment as well.

According to Cassandra Cuellar, Harlingen Convention and Visitors Bureau director, this year will feature more rides than last year’s.

“This is a quality of life event. We really just want to provide a fun, free event for the community to attend,” she said.

Live bands and artists such as Kody West, Dezigual and From the 956 will be playing for everyone to enjoy.

The schedule for the bands begins with From the 956 at 5 p.m. Dezigual will play after at 6:30 p.m. and headliner Kody West will finish after their set.

“These are not the same bands from last year. We always have different bands,” Cuellar said.
