Concert association welcomes Billboard-charting quartet

HARLINGEN — The Billboard-charting quartet Sons of Serendip is coming to the Harlingen Municipal Auditorium this week as part of the Harlingen Concert Association’s 2019-2020 season.

The ensemble, consisting of a harpist, cellist, pianist and lead vocalist, was a finalist on season nine of the television show “America’s Got Talent” and has performed in prestigious performing arts centers in the U.S., including the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and Atlanta’s Symphony Hall.

The members of Sons of Serendip — Micah Christian (lead vocalist), Cordaro Rodriguez (piano and guitar), Kendall Ramseur (cellist and vocalist) and Mason Morton (harpist) — met while graduate students at Boston University and have been performing together since 2014.

Sons of Serendip will take the stage at the Harlingen Municipal Auditorium Thursday, Feb. 6, at 7:30 p.m.
